a city (since 1983) in southern Georgia, the center of the Ninotsminda municipality in Javakhetia, Samtskhe-Javakheti province. It was founded as the village of Bogdanovka by Dukhobors, immigrants from Russia. It is located next to Lake Khanchali, 91 km from the railway station of the Georgian railway Akhaltsikhe.
